September 29, 2021 Mercy Health – Anderson and Clermont Hospitals have partnered with Inter Parish Ministry Food Pantry to build and install Blessing Boxes on the hospitals’ campuses. The hospitals introduced the partnership and unveiled the Blessing Boxes as a part of September 24’s Mercy Day observance, which marks the anniversary of the primary “House of Mercy” opened by the Sisters of Mercy to assist folks in want. October 4, 2021 Homelessness was already a rising concern in western Kentucky when the pandemic struck and made the issue worse. To help people and communities find methods out of poverty and reduce house insecurity, Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital is sponsoring a one-year AmeriCorps VISTA member who will serve with United Way of Paducah-McCracken County.
